About Sara De Furia

Sara De Furia is a senior Contemporary Dance B.F.A. student from Manalapan, New Jersey. She is pursuing minors in Spanish and Kinesiology and will be graduating in spring 2023. In her collegiate career she has appeared as a dancer in Bodies in Bold in 2019, University Players' SLIP in 2020 and 2021, Sounding Bodies in 2020, New Moves in 2021, Earthward in December 2021, and New Moves/New Directions in spring 2022. She has also showcased her own original choreographic work "Peanutbutter" in the SLIP 2021 production as well as "Cosmic Relativity" in From The Ground Up in 2021. Along with her dancing Sara is a certified Vinyasa yoga instructor and the Vice President of the Movement Cooperative here at IU.
