About Kathryn de la Rosa

Kathryn de la Rosa graduated from IU in 2019 with a BA in theatre & drama and a BAJ in journalism. While at IU, she worked as a dramaturg, sound designer, actor, and stage manager on mainstage, University Players and independent productions. She is a dramaturgy & literary management apprentice in the 2019-2020 Professional Training Comapny at Actors Theatre of Louisville.

Previously, she served as a literary assistant in The New Harmony Project 2019 Conference, supporting a workshop of Donnetta Lavinia Grays' Where We Stand commissioned by the Public Theater Mobile Unit. She also interned in the literary office at Asolo Repertory Theatre. Her plays have been/will be developed in IU’s At First Sight new play festival and by University Players.

Kathryn is a 2013 creative writing alumna of the Kentucky Center Governor's School for the Arts. As an audio producer, she worked on American Student Radio and The Quietus Hour, and contributed to programs at WFHB. She wrote a weekly astrology column for the Indiana Daily Student.
