About Riley Frey

Riley Frey is a sophomore pursuing a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre. She discovered her love of theatre and music from an early age, through summer theatre camps and participating in her church’s children’s choir. Ever since then she has been participating in theatre and vocal performances as often as possible.

Riley recently had the opportunity to participate in the 2017 NHSI Summer Theatre Intensive at Northwestern University, otherwise known as Cherubs. Over the course of 7 weeks she participated in classes, performed in productions, and formed lasting friendships. This was an enriching experience that reaffirmed Riley’s love of performing and led to her decision to pursue a degree in Musical Theatre.

Riley has previously performed on the IU Mainstage in Vinegar Tom (Singer). Past credits from productions outside IU Theatre include: Jesus Christ Superstar (Judas), Anything Goes (Reno Sweeney), The Tempest (Miranda), and Radium Girls (Grace Fryer).

Riley is incredibly thankful for the support of her family, especially her parents, who continue to push her and encourage her to work toward accomplishing her goals.
