About Corey Goulden-Naitove

Corey Goulden-Naitove is excited to be back for his final year as an M.F.A. candidate in lighting design at IU. He received a B.A. in theatre arts on the design and production track from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Credits for IU Theatre and Dance include: Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812 (Lighting Designer), Decolonizing Your Mind with Walter Mercado (Lighting Designer), S.L.I.P 2022 (Lighting Designer), New Directions 2022 (Head Electrician), Bowling for Beginners (Lighting Designer), Sueño (Head Electrician), Jump (Head Electrician), The Mystery Plays (Lighting Designer), The Well of Horniness (Lighting Designer), The Black and Brown Guerrillas (Lighting Designer), “Shadow and Flame” (Lighting Designer). Corey’s work has been staged all over the country including at The Classical Theatre of Maryland, The Charm City Fringe Festival, The University of Maryland, Baltimore County Departments of Theatre and Dance, The Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center, Abington Friends School, Constellation Stage and Screen, and The Glimmerglass Festival. Corey is also the winner of the USITT 2021 Midwest Digital Design Competition and a recipient of the Graduate Lighting Design Award from SETC for his lighting design for IU Theatre and Dance's production of The Well of Horniness.
