About Izel Landa

Izel Landa is a sophomore from Hammond, Indiana who attended the Hammond Academy for the Performing Arts with a concentration in Technical Theatre. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts with a concentration in Stage Management, as well as a minor in Arts Management and a possible minor in Linguistics. Some notable works include Haus of Mirth (Assistant Stage Manager), Triassic Parq (Scenic Designer), She Kills Monsters (Scenic Designer), The Big Meal (Girl), and Isn’t It Romantic (Stage Manager). After graduation she aspires to work as a production manager or an artistic director for a theatre company. She is currently the Production Manager for the Black, Brown, and Beige Theatre Troupe and a Student Advisory Board representative. She has been involved in technical theatre since her freshman year in high school and has found a passion within it. She would like to thank everyone who has supported her on her journey.
