Department of Theatre, Drama, and Contemporary Dance

Spencer Lawson is a Senior from Fishers, Indiana, majoring in Theatre. Spencer specializes in playwriting, but has worked as a Director and Stage Manager as well, and currently serves as University Players' Technical Director. Past Credits include: Footloose(Co-Director), Bright Star (Assistant Director), Into the Woods (Stage Manager), and Metamorphoses (Scenic Designer). Coming up, Spencer will be directing Sunday in the Park with George as an Independent Production. As a writer, Spencer's new full length play will be workshopped and produced with University Players during this upcoming season! Spencer is very thankful for his time here at IU, and looks forward to a busy but productive Senior year!
