Frankie Martinez is currently a first-year grad student at Indiana University and is working on an M.F.A. in Theater Technology. At IU she is currently the Technical Director for Head Over Heels and Sanctuary City. She was also the Assistant Technical Director for Faculty Dance 2024, and a carpenter on Orlando, Cabaret, Vox Pop! and Pipeline. She has worked professionally as a Master Carpenter for two summers, as well as a carpentry supervisor at Kings Dominion. At East Carolina University, where she completed her B.F.A., she was the Technical Director for Pride and Prejudice, and Intimate Apparel, as well as the Assistant Technical Director on Pippin and Head Over Heels. There, she has also worked as a carpenter, head electrician, scenic painter and props artisan.
