Danielle McKnight received a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre. She grew up in Southeast Wisconsin before moving to Indiana, and was able to have many great performance experiences throughout her childhood. Opportunities to sing with Victor Wooten, as well as other performances on stage, television, and radio solidified her passion to be an entertainer.
Her IU Mainstage credits include: City of Angels (Angel City Quartet), Jesus Christ Superstar (Tribe). For IU Summer Theatre: Little Shop of Horrors (Ronette), Sticks and Stone (Meggy- Lead), Stardust Road (Cast), Joe Schmoe Saves the World (Vocalist). For Cardinal Stage Company: The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley (Mrs. Cartero). She starred in the New York workshop of The Wave (Ella), a new musical written by Or Mathias and directed by Chloe Treat. Other credits include: Rocky Horror Show (Usherette/Magenta), Hairspray (Lorraine/Dynamite), and Spring Awakening (Anna). Danielle is President of IU’s Student Advisory Board for Theatre, Drama, and Dance. She is from Zionsville, IN.
