Aaron Ricciardi is the rising second-year writer in IU's M.F.A. Playwriting program. Since arriving at IU, there have been staged readings of Aaron's plays Nice Nails and Can I See Your Face?, a production of his play Resting Bitch Face, and a concert of Aaron's musical theatre songs. Aaron's play with songs The Travels (music by Kelly Hoppenjans) was produced as part of the 2014 New York Musical Festival. As an actor, Aaron has worked with TheatreworksUSA and Musicals Tonight, among others, and he most recently played Adolf Hitler in a reading of Ted Malawer's new comedy Daddy Issues. Aaron is a Huffington Post Blogger, a member of the BMI Musical Theatre Advanced Workshop, and a graduate of Northwestern University's Theatre program.
