Talia is saying her final farewell in her last Main Stage production at IU, Nice Nails. Although leaving the walls of the Wells-Metz will be bittersweet, she is eager to start her journey into the professional theatre world following graduation.
Talia plans to move to Chicago, Illinois in hopes of performing and is excited to see where the next year takes her. She feels ready for this new chapter in her life as she reflects on her years studying in IU's Theatre Department, which have been filled with growth in her craft and self discovery. After four years, she has realized that new theatre is her passion.
Contemporary, recent works and playwrights have played a huge role in her IU career and have solidified her passion for theatre. She intends to continue searching for more of these opportunities post graduation. Until this time, she is fully enjoying the rehearsal process for Nice Nails and is looking forward to spending her last few months in Bloomington embracing being surrounded by art and creative peers, walking across the stage in a cap and gown in May, and traveling through Europe this summer before embarking on the next big adventure!
