Department of Theatre, Drama, and Contemporary Dance

Ryan just recently graduated from Waubonsie Valley High School where developed his love for theater. His favorite things to do outside of theater are to play the flute among other instruments, analyze and transcribe music, as well as learn about animals. He aspires to travel the country, spreading joy through theater. He hopes to someday write a musical of his own due to his love of instrumental music. His favorite credits include: Molag in Starkid’s Firebringer: The Musical (IU Independent Production), Squidward in SpongeBob SquarePants: The Musical (WVHS), Nigel/Rudolpho in Matilda (WVHS), and Uncle Fester in The Addams Family (WVHS- canceled due to COVID-19). He wants to thank the IUMT faculty for giving him the opportunity to create art and share his story through theater. He wants to thank his family and everyone who has supported him through this journey.
