About Lani Tortoriello

Lani Tortoriello is a third year M.F.A. student in costume technology.

For IU Theatre, she has draped Into The Woods, Hedda Gabler, and the Faculty Dance Concert. Dancing At Lughnasa and Duchess of Malfi are her thesis shows this season.

She received her B.A. in theatre and dance with a focus in costume design and construction from Knox College in 2008.

Lani spent this last summer as draper for New Harmony Theatre, and most recently worked with IU Jacobs School of Music as wardrobe supervisor, draper, and first hand from 2008-2014. She has also worked as wardrobe supervisor/stitcher for Blast! and New Harmony Theatre, and as a stitcher for Goodman Theatre and American Players Theatre.

Lani is originally from Harvard, Illinois.
