Elise is a senior BFA in Contemporary Dance with a minor in Small Business Management and Entrepreneurship. Through IUB, she had the opportunity to perform in excerpts from Jose Limons´ Suite from Psalm, (2017) Bill T Jones´ D-Man in the Waters (2018) , and the first ever re-staging of Rennie Harris’ Home (2019). She also performed in original works by Stephanie Nugent and Elizabeth Shea in the ¨Indy Fringe Festival¨ (2018), as well as collaborated with the African American Dance Company in Iris Rosa´s original work Migrant Bodies (2017). Lastly, she premiered her first choreographic work, Strains of Connectivity in IUB´s ¨Dances from a Future Time: From Here On¨ (2017).
Elise first discovered her love for sharing movement at age 13 when she first began teaching children's dance. Since then, Elise has taught for a non-profit dance company in Bloomington, and has taught as a guest artist for several studios and summer intensives in CO and IN. Elise is currently an instructor at Pure Barre Bloomington and will be pursuing her M.S. in Finance in 2019.
