Alana Yurczyk is a second year M.F.A. candidate in scenic design. Alana received her Bachelor's degree in theatre (scenic design) and English from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. Recently, Alana won the 2016 USITT Midwest Regional Digital Design Competition for her design of The Duchess of Malfi. For IU Theatre: The Duchess of Malfi (Scenic Designer), Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike (Scenic Designer, Scenic Charge Artist), Berserker (Scenic Designer), Mr. Burns, a post-electric play (Prop Master), and Antigone (Prop Master).
