Acting for the Camera: An intensive summer program for future screen actors
The Acting for the Camera session is being presented by the Midsummer Theatre Camp, which is sponsored by the IU Department of Theatre and Drama, in collaboration with the Media School. The session is a collaborative week-long experience coupled with the Advanced Filmmakers Academy, which is an intensive summer program for high school students interested in studying and creating films.
Dates: July 20-24, 2026*
*Students would check into the residence hall the evening of July 19th from 5-6pm EDT.
Cost: Acting for the Camera is a residential-only program. It costs $950, which includes lodging, meals, instruction, equipment use, and other student supplies.
Registration: This program is highly selective and limited to about 15-20 students.
