Department of Theatre, Drama, and Contemporary Dance

Cindi serves as a senior staff member in the Department of Theatre, Drama and Contemporary Dance. As the Department Fiscal Officer, she provides leadership for all financial activities of the department including budget preparation, financial planning, maintaining adequate internal controls and implementing appropriate processes, and management of all IU, IU Foundation, and externally funded accounts. Cindi is responsible for ensuring that the department follows all university and College financial policies and procedures, as well as compliance with guidelines associated with externally sponsored funding.  

She participates in financial planning, provides advice on proposed initiatives, and develops budgets. She also serves as department liaison with College committees related to fiscal management, and participates in the development of department policies and procedures for ensuring effective compliance with all institutional fiscal mandates. 

Prior to joining the IU Theatre staff, she worked 16 years as the administrative assistant/office manager and assistant to the chairperson of the Finance Department at the IU Kelley School of Business.
