Aaron Comforty performs weekly in the Bloomington area, directs the Fairview Elementary School Drum Corps, and teaches privately at the Jefferson St. Music Studio. He is thrilled to collaborate on this project with choreographers and dancers who are engaging in questions regarding the roles that nostalgia plays in both art forms and the representation of the past in improvisational performance. On the connections between music and dance, Aaron jokes, “What is playing music but dancing your fingers on the neck of a guitar? What is singing but dancing your tongue on the roof of your mouth?”
