Scholarship support in the College of Arts + Sciences

The College of Arts and Sciences, of which Theatre, Drama, and Contemporary Dance is a part, offers more than 350 scholarships and awards to students. Incoming students who are directly admitted to the College of Arts and Sciences with Theatre, Drama, and Contemporary Dance as their intended major may be eligible for a number of merit-based scholarships within the College.

High achieving students may also be recognized for Academic Excellence in the College of Arts and Sciences, or be eligible for admission to the Hutton Honors College.

Theatre + Dance scholarships + awards

Alumni, faculty, and friends have established a variety of awards to recognize and support deserving students of the Department of Theatre, Drama, and Contemporary Dance. These awards are given at the discretion of an award advisory committee and the department chairperson, who solicit and review nominations each year. Students are typically eligible for these awards following their freshman year.
