Campus activity

The IU campus abounds with art, opera, orchestra, chorus, cinema, chamber music, dance, comedy, and theatre activity. Beyond campus, the city of Bloomington is known for its support for the arts, offering both local and touring performances of the highest quality.

In addition to the productions developed within the department, there are a tremendous number of performance and public presentation events at IU, through the Jacobs School of Music and other departments, programs, extracurricular and classroom events.
