To gain an appreciation and knowledge of the history of musical theatre

To meet the demands of the 21st century job market

  • Provide networking with NYC and Chicago (Agents, Casting Directors, Creatives)
  • Internships with casting directors and agents
  • Whenever possible cast students in professional productions that faculty are associated with
  • Provide opportunities on and off campus to serve on creative staffs as assistant director, choreographer, or musical director
