Giving Opportunities

IU Day of Giving

It’s almost here! April 22, 2026, marks a decade of IU Day. That’s 10 years of impact, generosity, and community in support of the university we love.

Our Crowdfunding campaigns are now live, so consider making your gift early to help us reach our goal.

First-time gifts count double

It’s IU Day’s 10th anniversary! In honor of this milestone, all first-time gifts to IU will be matched dollar for dollar up to $500—potentially doubling your impact. (Until $80,000 matching funds run out.) Plus, 10 first-time donors will be chosen at random to win $1,000 for the fund of their choice.

The Jonathan Duffield Fund for Baccalaureate Degree Enhancement supports undergraduate BA Theatre and Drama students' independent projects.

The newly established Jonathan Duffield Fund for Baccalaureate Degree Enhancement supports our undergraduate BA Theatre and Drama students by providing financial support for independent projects, innovative exploration into theatre making, and opportunities to build leadership skills and their resume.

Each semester, students self-produce creative works in unique spaces through the department's Independent Project Process. These projects are approved by a faculty committee, and students receive guidance and mentoring from a faculty advisor throughout the process. The Independent Projects Process is an essential part of our students' education and creates dozens of additional performance and design opportunities for students to explore theatre-making in a multitude of facets each year!

Help us with ‘Act Two’

In the theatre we often say that your ticket pays for act one, but it takes the loyal support of donors to allow us to do act two. The Department of Theatre, Drama, and Contemporary Dance thrives with the generous support of ‘Act Two’ people like you. Please look at the funds listed below and consider a gift to one or more of these worthy endeavors. You can give online using the IU Foundation's secure site, or mail your gift to the IU Foundation:
