About Chris Martz
During his 30-year association with IUB, Chris Martz has taken on multiple roles in the world of academia: a graduate student in three different College departments (Theatre and Drama, Applied Linguistics, Speech and Hearing Sciences); an instructor/adjunct professor and tutor of English as a Second Language (ESL) for international students; and undergraduate academic advisor. Now semi-retired, he still enjoys meeting with students as a part-time academic advisor for the College of Arts and Sciences. When he is off campus, Chris enjoys walking/hiking, golf, singing, seeing stage productions, reading the classics, researching historical mysteries, and sharing good times with family and friends.
