Topic: Aesthetic lineages
This playwriting workshop welcomes intermediate to advanced playwrights in an exploration of aesthetic lineages. We will read and discuss plays, identify their context and ancestry, and creatively engage with their aesthetic and political proposals. By identifying artistic ancestors and inviting their writing into our own, we will become more aware of our lineages and creative influxes, as well as stretch out of our comfort zone. Open to graduate and undergraduate students, with the instructor¿s approval.
