We offer undergraduate degrees in Theatre and Drama, Musical Theatre, and Contemporary Dance. Our graduate programs include an M.A. or Ph.D. in Theatre and Drama and M.F.A. degrees in Acting, Directing, Playwriting, and Design and Technology fields.
We stage 12+ high-quality productions each year in state-of-the-art facilities, providing our students with plenty of opportunities to put skills learned in the classroom into practice.

IU Theatre & Dance Ph.D. Candidate Bridget Sundin published in Volume 27 of the Theatre Symposium for her article "From Tuxedo to Gown: Dietrich's Haunted Dressing Room(s)."
Poonie's Cabaret is back! A quarterly performance series originally curated by Selene Carter in 2002 has again risen in Chicago as an inclusive space valuing improvisation and experimentation, providing opportunities for performers of all genres in an LGBTQ+ welcoming space.

Kaleigh Howland, 2019 IU Theatre & Dance Graduate, just won third place out of 18 contestants at the NSAL national competition.
