Alexis is a versatile performer whose artistry was nurtured in Indiana University’s African American Dance Company under the guidance of Iris Rosa and Stafford C. Berry. During her time at IU, she was given opportunities to appear in faculty concerts and perform in Rennie Harris’ HOME and with the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company. A former Indiana Pacemate featured in the 2024 NBA All-Star Game, Alexis now shares her passion as Program Director and Modern instructor at Iibada Dance Company while performing with Baba Stafford & Co. and Kenyetta Dance Company in Indianapolis.
