He completed a year-long artist development workshop which focused on the business side of the art disciplines with the Lincoln Theatre, in partnership with the Greater Columbus Arts Council. He joined the all-male contemporary African dance company, The Berry and Nance Dance Project, alongside co-director Stafford Berry (Baba Stafford). This past year, he has taken part in several plays and musicals in honor of the centennial celebration of the Harlem Renaissance, including a revival of the Broadway musical Eubie! brought together by CATCO Theatre Company. He is set to create a choreopoem this fall, focusing on his own upbringing and the awareness of how intersectionality has represented and formed his outlook in society.
