At IU, Martha teaches acting, she directed Proof by David Auburn, and she performed for seven seasons at Brown County Playhouse. In town, she has acted and directed for Bloomington Jewish Theatre and Cardinal Stage. In Indy, she acted and directed at the old Phoenix Theatre for many years. Last summer, at the beautiful new Phoenix Theatre, she directed Indecent by Paula Vogel, and next month she will direct Lucas Hnath’s The Christians.
