Noa Shadur is an independent choreographer & video artist based in Tel Aviv. She graduated with a B.A. in Dance and Choreography from ArtEZ Institute for the Arts in Arnhem, The Netherlands.
Noa’s work has been presented in festivals in Israel and internationally including: American Dance Festival, USA; Pavillon Noir, France; Civitanova Danza, Arezzo, Italy; FIFA, Canada; Budapest National Theatre, Hungary; Dance New Amsterdam, NY, USA; Korzo Theatre, The Netherlands; and Fresh Paint Art Fair, Tel Aviv, Israel.
Noa was awarded the 2009 and 2014 prize for Upcoming Choreographer from the Israeli Ministry of Culture. Her work We Do Not Torture People won 1st Prize at the international choreography competition No Ballet (Ludwigshafen, Germany). She was chosen to represent Israel at the DanceWEB scholarship program in Vienna.
She is a teacher and guest choreographer at institutes such as Artez Institute for the Arts (The Netherlands), Kibbutz Gaaton Workshop (Israel), Kibbutzim College (Tel Aviv, Israel), and the Academy for Dance and Music (Jerusalem).
More awards include: 1st Prize at the Vdance International Video Dance Festival (TLV, Israel), a Certificate of Distinction for ADF - Dancing for the Camera (NC, USA), and Best Film in the POOL07 Festival (Berlin, Germany).
Her body of choreographic work includes, among others: Suddenly we were all alone (2016), Field Survey (Film 2016), Entropy (2015), Shifters (2014), We Do Not Torture People (2012).
