About Isabel Barredo

Isabel Barredo is a sophomore pursuing a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre with a minor in Arts Management. Originally from Greenville, SC, Isabel is excited to be performing in her first new work as Theo in Why Liliya Why. She made her IU Theatre debut earlier this season as ensemble and Mary understudy in Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812. She would like to thank the production team, cast, and crew of Why Liliya Why for making this whole process so life-giving, collaborative, and fun! She would also like to thank her family and friends for their continued love and encouragement. Other recent credits include The Best We Could (a family tragedy) (Maps) and Dark Play or Stories for Boys (Female Netizen). As she continues her education at IU, Isabel is interested in pursuing directing and voice acting, among other facets of the performing arts. Outside of the classroom and off the stage, Isabel also enjoys a good game of Dungeons & Dragons. In addition, she would also like to give a shout-out to her wonderful friends at InterVarsity Asian Christian Fellowship for their support.
