Bernadette Bradley is originally from South Bend IN and is a current Junior at Indiana University majoring in Contemporary Dance and Spanish. She has studied a variety of different dance styles including Afro-Cuban, African Diaspora, Improvisation, Musical Theater, Ballet, and several other styles of Modern/Contemporary dance. She has performed in the past IUCD productions, Shifting Landscapes, Hatched, Bodies in Bold, and New Moves, and has presented her choreography in From the Ground Up and SLIP. In addition to dancing, she is also a musician and singer, and is interested in the convergence of these artforms and the ways they connect and ground us in our common humanity. She also loves improvisation and the bodily and special awareness, connection, and the experimentation it facilitates.
