About Zoey Dickenson

Zoey Dickenson is a junior studying Contemporary Dance with a minor in Media and Creative Advertising. Previously at Indiana University, she has been seen in pieces by Stafford C. Berry Jr., Erik Abbott-Main, and Sarah Wroth, as well as works choreographed by her peers. She has choreographed her own works in the annual SLIP dance concert, as well as the Junior Choreographic Performance Project. Before coming to IU, Zoey spent 14 years at Paula Aubry School of Dance, in her hometown of Bourbonnais, IL, where she trained in ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, modern, and contemporary. She was also a part of Paula Aubry’s student company and was able to teach and choreograph for younger dancers. She has participated in workshops and intensives with the Chicago National Association of Dance Masters, Visceral Dance Chicago, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, and Royal Flux Dance Company. Post-grad, Zoey hopes to join a professional company and continue teaching and choreographing.
