Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Rhiannon Freimuth is a performing artist who is passionate about giving and sharing. Currently a Contemporary Dance and Theatre double major at Indiana University, Rhiannon transferred to Indiana University from Hope College for the start of her sophomore year. For Hope College Dance Department she appeared in A Gallery of Artists (Dancer) and the Fall Student Showcase (Choreographer and Dancer). For IU Mainstage she has been in multiple works including Ascension (Dancer) and Aggregation (Dancer). Her other artistic endeavors at IU include the Junior Choreographic Project (2018, 2019), New Moves (2019), Murder Ballad (Assistant Director and Choreographer), SLIP (2020 Choreographer and Dancer), Phantasmagoria (Lighting Designer), and Ramble On (Dancer). Additionally at IU, Rhiannon is currently the President of The Movement Cooperative and serves on the Department of Theatre, Drama, and Contemporary Dance Student Advisory Board.
Rhiannon is now looking towards work in Arts Administration, as next year she will begin pursuing her Masters of Arts in Arts Administration at IU’s O’Neill School. Her goal is to not only make the performing arts more accessible to the public, but more understandable and approachable as well.
