About Paully Hawthorn

Paully Hawthorn is a Senior B.A. studying Theatre hailing from Indianapolis, Indiana. Concentrations for Paully's Theatre degree include acting, playwriting, and lighting design with dabbles of costume and sound design. His reason for pursuing theatre is that he believes Theatre is one of the most powerful tools on how we as a society give voice to the voiceless. Previous IU acting credits include; What’s After? (Dante, Solo Spotlight Series), I Love XXX (Actor, Independent project), Dark Play or Stories for Boys (Nick, University Players), and Gross Indecency: The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde (Lord Alfred Douglas, IU MainStage). Lighting design credits include; The Wizard of Oz (Ohio Youth Ensemble Stage), Puffs! (University Players), Company (Independent project), and The Empty Room (Independent project). Playwriting credits include Opa! (Undergrad Shorts, 2018) and With This Ring (Undergrad Shorts, 2022).
