About Chelsea Kummeth

Chelsea is studying Contemporary Dance and Pre-Occupational Therapy. She has a strong passion for American Sign Language and has created her own minor: Therapeutic and Theatrical ASL. She grew up dancing since the age of three and is a Hoosier at heart. She danced at Debbie Werbrouck's School of Dance and has performed with Patchwork Dance Company, Penn High School's Varsity Pom-Pom's team and dance department. At IU, she has performed in Shifting Landscapes (2020), Making Spaces (2019), New Moves (2018, 2019), SLIP (2018), and From Here On (2017). She has choreographed for Bodies in Bold (2019) and SLIP (2019, 2020). She is an annual participant at Chicago National Association of Dance Masters and has received various scholarships. She loves teaching dance and creating new movement.
