Department of Theatre, Drama, and Contemporary Dance

Katie Lea is currently a senior at Indiana University and will earn a BFA in Contemporary Dance and a minor in Psychology. Originally from Fishers, Indiana, Katie trained in ballet, jazz, and Graham technique with members of Dance Kaleidoscope in Indianapolis prior to coming to college. Since coming to Indiana University, Katie has performed works by Jose Limón and Stephanie Batton Bland as well as attended the Bill Evans Annual Somatic Conference in Geneva, New York in July 2017 and there performed the work Hunger Moon choreographed by Elizabeth Limons Shea. Katie is looking forward to furthering her career in the dance industry after graduation this May.
