About Abby Lee

Abby Lee was born and raised an actress, in the burbs of Chicago, where she attended the highly regarded performing arts department at New Trier High School and Interlochen Arts Camp during the summer.

Abby has continued to study extensively over the years. She received her B.A. in acting from Ohio Wesleyan University, under Elane Denny, and upon graduation received the Wesleyan Players award for her dedicated and consistent work throughout the four years (an award which she shared with Timothy Moloi: award-winning song artist in South Africa). Abby also attended the National Theatre Conservatory summer intensive program at the Denver Center wherein she studied with the brilliant, and changeling actor, Larry Hecht. Having been inspired by this experience, Abby furthered her education in New York at The William Esper Studio 2-year Meisner program and was taught by Bill Esper, himself. Abby also studied in New York with Seth Barrish at The Barrow Group. Abby continued in Chicago at The Acting Studio with The Goodman's Adam Belcuore and Henry Wishcamper and A Red Orchid's Shade Murray. Abby is currently earning her Master's of Fine Arts degree in acting from Indiana University and is a proud member of Actor's Equity Association and  SAG/AFTRA.
