Savannah Lewis is a movement researcher based in Bloomington, IN. She is a native of Southern California and began her dance training at the age of three. After completing high school, she continued her education at Indiana University, dual majoring in Contemporary Dance and Media Production. Savannah enjoys investigating movement through the camera lens and hopes to incorporate her knowledge of production within her art form. During her time at Indiana University, she has been fortunate enough to train through different programs including: BodyTraffic, the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance, and the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. Savannah hopes to continue her education at the University of Haifa’s international M.A. program in Prehistoric Archeology, emphasizing in zooarcheology after graduation in May 2021. She plans to research the history of prehistoric Israel, and understand how the history has influenced the movement in present day Israel.
