Kyle is a performer, director, and administrator originally from Rochester Hills, Michigan. As a performer, some highlights include Quasimodo in The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Musidorus in Head Over Heels, and Cowboy Trio/Ensemble in Crazy for You at IU, as well as Ensemble/Dance Captain in In the Heights with the Detroit Actor’s Theatre Company.
Kyle also currently serves as the Artistic Director of University Players, an undergraduate-run theatre company on IU’s campus. With University Players, he has directed Next to Normal and Bright Star. This school year, he also was the director, producer, and co-choreographer of a COVID-safe production of Into the Woods that was funded through a grant program at IU, as well as a crowdfunding campaign. In his career, Kyle hopes to help tear down inequities faced by marginalized communities within the theatre industry and use his art to send a message. He also has a somewhat unhealthy obsession with Welch’s fruit snacks and listening to Ariana Grande.
