About Jessica O'Brien

Jessica O'Brien is a recent graduate from IU and was awarded B.A.s in English, Theatre & Drama, and Spanish with a focus in Hispanic Literature. She is thrilled to be spending her summer in Bloomington with IUST! Past credits for IU Theatre include: Bowling for Beginners (Karina). Jessica served this past year as the Director of Marketing and Communications for University Players (UP), the undergraduate-run theatre troupe on campus. Past credits for UP include: Bright Star (Stage Manager), She Kills Monsters (Kaliope/Dramaturg), and Triassic Parq (T-Rex 1/Kaitlyn). Past credits for IU Independent Projects include: The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Ensemble), Into the Woods (Stage Manager), and Tick…Tick…Boom! (Assistant Director/Stage Manager). Past credits for 574 Theatre Company include: Into the Woods: A Deaf Theatre Project (Swing/Assistant Director) and Almost, Maine (Assistant Director). Past credits for Penn High School include: Shrek (Fiona), Kiss Me, Kate (Lois Lane), and A Midsummer Night's Dream (Puck). She has also worked with Musical Mission Tour, a non-profit organization that brings theatre performance to children in need. Jessica is from South Bend, Indiana.
