(she/her) Jieun Ok, born in Seoul, South Korea, has explored a wide range of musical genres, including jazz, theater, and game music. Her compositions have been performed by ensembles such as the Jeju Wind Orchestra, IU Wind Band, Cheongju Philharmonic Orchestra, Flasic Game Orchestra, Seoul Choral Society, Busan Conductors Choir, Busan Harmony Choir, and Trio Achim, demonstrating her versatility in both instrumental and vocal settings.
She holds a Bachelor of Music in Composition from Yonsei University and is currently pursuing a Master of Music in Composition and Music Theory at Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music, where she also serves as an associate instructor in the Music Theory Department.
