Department of Theatre, Drama, and Contemporary Dance

Rae Sarokin is a sophomore dance major in the Contemporary Dance Program at Indiana University. She is from San Diego California and grew up dancing at Prodigy Dance Company and was a member of her high school's dance conservatory program. She has trained extensively in Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, Lyrical and Hip Hop. She also has experience in gymnastics and acrobatics. At IU she is a member of and very involved in her sorority, Delta Zeta. She is looking forward to continue growing as a dancer and person throughout her time here at Indiana University and is hoping to continue her dance career professionally after graduation.
