Olivia Tokarski is a senior pursuing a B.F.A. in Contemporary Dance. They are from Clawson Michigan, but later trained dance in California at the Brockus Conservatory. Olivia spent their Junior year abroad in Israel furthering their dance studies at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance.
Olivia has performed in the IU Contemporary Dance department shows Beauty (2016), Dances For a Future Time (2017), and Bodies of Light (2018). They have also choreographed and participated in shows put on by students and student led organizations such as the Movement Cooperatives Choreographic Showcase (2016, 2017, 2019), University Player's Slip: An Annual Dance Collaboration (2017, 2018), and Suspiria: A Play With Dance (2019). In 2019 they also created a piece for Ephemerous: Advanced Choreographic Projects Showcase. In Israel, Olivia performed in several shows in the JAMD's studio theater.
