About Destiny Walton

Destiny Walton is from Gary, Indiana. She is a double major studying Dance and Exercise Science. She is an active member of Chi Alpha Epsilon which is an honors society program. She is also a member of the Exquisite Epsilon Chi chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. She began dancing when she was 13 years old. She has worked with Bill T. Jones Arnie Zane company and was a part of the African American Dance company. Destiny was accepted to Deeply Rooted Dance theatre on a merit scholarship for their summer intensive program and she also did the Alonzo King Lines Ballet summer program. While here at IU she has had many dance opportunities. She was offered a gig with Forgotten Clefs, and this was from 2020-2022. After She graduates in 2023, she will seek professional dance opportunities in the Chicago area or Texas.
