Matthew Weidenbener is a senior at IU, pursuing his B.F.A. in musical theatre. Recent credits include, For IU Theatre: Urinetown (Asst. Dir/Chor.), The Drowsy Chaperone (Robert Martin), Jesus Christ Superstar, Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, Sweet Charity, Into The Woods. For Grandstreet Theatre: Cry-Baby (Baldwin/Dance Captain), Tarzan (Father/Ape/DC). For Cardinal Stage: Frankenstein (Gustav/Rab/Fight Capt.), West Side Story (Co-Choreographer), A Year with Frog and Toad (Snail), Oliver!, Mary Poppins, Hairspray. Matthew can be seen weekly co-hosting WTIU’s The FridayZone, airing on PBS Kids throughout the midwest. He is a Bloomington native.
