Bobby is a recent graduate of the IU M.F.A. Acting program and an Adjunct Professor of Acting at Indiana University. His diverse experience spans acting and scenic and prop design, developed through work in both Cleveland and Los Angeles. Prior to IU, he earned his B.A. in Acting from Cleveland State University.
During his time at CSU, he devised a one-act play titled La Grippe. This play was shaped by his research and exploration of Alfred Jarry's Ubu Roi, as well as the Theatre of the Absurd and Surrealism. Currently, he is developing La Grippe into a full-length play. He enjoys working on new plays, especially those that experiment with elements of surrealism, absurdism, and magical realism.
Prior to entering the program at IU, Bobby lived in Los Angeles where he focused on filmmaking, both in front of and behind the camera. He continues to indulge his passion for film through writing, directing, and editing. Beyond film and theatre, he enjoys illustration, writing, and carpentry.
