Kate Ashton is a New York City based Lighting Designer for dance, opera, and theatre. Recent work includes Turn of the Screw (Juilliard), Tales of Hoffman, Barber of Seville, and Aida (Aspen Music Festival), Josephine & I (Public Theatre), Death of a Salesman (BAM, Theater Mitu), Romeo and Juliet (Baltimore Symphony Orchestra), Tango Song & Dance (Kennedy Center), A Tree Grows in Brooklyn (Peccadillo Theatre Company, Henry Hewes Award nominee), Pride & Prejudice (Bristol Riverside Theatre), and Divorce Party: The Musical (original production and U.S. tour). Dance: Resident Lighting Designer for Dance at Williams College, Syren Modern Dance, Belinda McGuire.
