IU Theatre, Drama, and Contemporary Dance Ph.D. Candidate Bridget Sundin has recently been published in the 27th annual volume of the Theatre Symposium, a publication of the Southeastern Theatre Conference, Theatre and Embodiment, for her article "From Tuxedo to Gown: Dietrich's Haunted Dressing Room(s)."
Bridget is a Ph.D. candidate in theatre history, theory, and dramatic literature with a minor in gender studies at Indiana University. Her research interests include embodiment, feminist theory, and queer theory/queer futurity. Bridget's dissertation project uses those theories to examine Josephine Baker and Marlene Dietrich's performances of gender on stage and screen.
