About Brandon Magid

Brandon Magid is a musical director, arts educator, and vocal coach, currently pursuing his master’s degree in music education at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music.  Credits include Broadway: Godspell (Circle in the Square); Off-Broadway: City Center Encores!, Vineyard, York, and NYC Fringe.  Regional: Paper Mill Playhouse, American Repertory Theatre, Barrington Stage, and Goodspeed Musicals as well as Bloomington Playwrights Project and TimeLine Theater Company and A Red Orchid Theatre, both in Chicago.  He loves working to develop new musicals and has done so alongside composers like Henry Krieger, Gary William Friedman, Robby & Cristina Farruggia, and most recently, music directed a reading of Always Greener in Chicago, a new musical written for actors of varying disabilities.   He has worked as an accompanist/coach for various schools and training programs including New York University, Broadway Dance Center, Northwestern University, LaGuardia Community College, and Interlochen Center for the Arts. Proud Honors grad of Loyola University Chicago.
