About Danielle Long

Danielle Long is excited to return the Indiana University Theatre stage as the Clown in Shakespeare’s The Winter’s Tale. She has performed with, among others, the Cedar Rapids Opera Company, Lakeshore Players Theater, Expressions Theater, Northern Starz Children’s Theater, the Merrill Arts Center Players, Orange Players Theatre, the Gilbert and Sullivan Very Light Opera Company, and Opera Reading Project. Danielle studied at the International Vocal Academy in Austria, the Lotte Lehmann Akademie in Germany, and the Università per stranieri di Perugia. Danielle attends Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University, earning her Masters of Music in Voice Performance. Recently, Danielle performed as Zinnia in L’étoile; as Isabelle in Pirates of Penzance; as Macduff and King Duncan in Macbeth; as Rhiannon in Rhiannon’s Condemnation; in Highway 1, USA; and as the alto soloist in Beethoven’s Messe in C, Handel’s Messiah, and Haydn’s Lord Nelson Mass. In 2023, Danielle will be performing in the world premiere of the opera Anne Frank, and will be appearing in concert for her degree recital in May.
