Department of Theatre, Drama, and Contemporary Dance

Payton McCollam is a sophomore dance major with a minor in entrepreneurship. Previously at Indiana University, she has performed in the 2021 Junior Choreography Performance Project, the 2022 Senior Capstone: New Moves, and Zoey Dickenson's independent project: Color Me Human. She is also a member of the sorority Delta Zeta. Payton grew up dancing in Owensboro Dance Theatre's Company, in her hometown Owensboro, Kentucky where she trained in ballet, jazz, tap, modern, and contemporary dance. After graduating, she hopes to dance for a professional company and to teach and choreograph.
